Sequential flowering Paphs are very common. The main thing to look for are plants that have the species : primulinum, chamberlainianum, victoria-regina, victoria-mariae, liemianum, moquettianum, glaucophyllum in the parentage. These are all sequential flowerers. Spikes can continue to flower for more than 12 months. If bred between themselves the better the sequential flowering. When they are crossed with plants the have all their flowers opening together ( multiflorals ) they may still flower sequentially but more likely the flowers will open at the same time.

Doc I was looking at a pic of victoria-regina earlier today and the dorsal is very dark at the bottom with dark vertical stipes, and not much of a halo. I know what you mean about confusing. At my age that happens all too often and easily!  |

Bikerdoc, I ended up purchasing a Westonbirt anyway (from Orchidweb), it is GORGEOUS!!!! Absolutely gorgeous. I fell in love after seeing the picture of your Paph.
I also purchased a Paph Amarantine (liemianum x moquettianum), which hypothetically should be "super" sequential, unless baseline for either Paph is continuous flowering...win-win situation!

Sequential Paphs usually come with green leaf, means most of them like bright light and they usually send out more roots than regular Paphs.
So in summer they do fine but in winter, they should be placed in worm place.
