While everything is shutdown in California, somethings are opening up... Here is my first Paphiopedilum. Rather curious things, these!

Agreed. Very nice. Looks like it would taste like a fruit roll up!!

I love the paphs with the dots. They looks like ants doing work

That's a nice one for a first choice. Yes, they are curious things. Remind me somewhat of snapdragons, and some of the carnivorous plants. And blooms that last for awhile... that's always a positive.

Thanks for the kind comments. I've been trying to expand my orchid collection beyond Catts, Onc, and Dens. I'm glad I got this one!

It's fully opened now. Looks like some cartoon character with the pollinia visible...
