The cluster of great looking plants are doing you proud. Are they in an enclosure? Just answered my question...you do have a terrarium I recall. A1 grower!

just wanted to add that the bloom progression is so cool - really captures all the time spent patiently waiting for the flower to open.

ps: is that an Ornithocephalus in the background?

Good eye - Ornithocephalus manabina. Have been growing out 5 different species of this genus for awhile.

An Ornithocephalus gladiatus coming into bloom

Appreciate the compliment! This has been a very hardy Phap, and it has done well in a terrarium (under artificial lighting).

Thanks!
Growing them in terrariums. I have a couple open-front enclosures that I'm in the process of reorganizing. Added a set of glass doors to one of those enclosures to add a little more humidity. Now it holds anywhere from 50-70% RH.

I'll probably remove the P. barbatum from its present location into this enclosure (with the glass doors) after flowering. Will be in a dimmer location than where it is now. I will also add some recently mounted divisions (of other miniatures) into that set-up. Just a temporary 'holding container' right now, but I'm in the process of transforming it into a more permanent set-up.

Sliding glass doors added (has increased RH about 20%)

The colors (especially on the pouch) are just so vibrant.
