Default Phrag. pearcei var. ecuadorense in bloom

My Phrag. pearcei is in bloom again. It bloomed well a couple years ago and then sulked when I divided it. This is the first bloom since then. It has another spike in bud and several smaller ones just starting.

Yay! I love this little species. So cute. My P. pearcei is stiiiilllll blooming, though I think the spikes are probably producing their last buds & blooms now. Very pretty flowers. And nicely grown.

Mine hates getting repotted as well, but unfortunately I think after the blooms fade, it's time.

It's in a 6 inch pot with holes in the bottom and then in a container with an inch or two of water. This one likes to be wetter than some Phrags.

How so very nice and lovely. Phrags are challenging for me but my hirtzii('spring creek')x self put on a show. Not as "curly" and pinkish as yours and a bit smaller...not complaining!
