Default Phrag. (Mem. Dick Clements x Sorcerer's Apprentice)

Full name, (Mem Dick Clements 'Reach' x Sorcerer's Apprentice 'Mystery Color')

I love phrags with this burnt orange / salmon color.

This was something of a happy story, I purchased a very vigorous plant (well over 5 growths, not sure how many) in spike. I was reaching across the table where it lives and broke the spike. That was really depressing. Lo and behold, several months later, this plant really wants to flower! I'm not sure I can take credit for reblooming it, but it sure is beautiful.

p.s. I don't know how to post an image in here, so I have to post links. I tried using image function but it never works. Anyone have advice, PM me, thanks

That's a beauty!! Of course it's hard to go wrong with those two parents. I'm new to phrags but I'm excited about them. That one is a keeper for sure.

The prettiest (not the most striking) in this color range IMO is Dallesandroi (sp?). I don't have it and will have to get rid of something else to make room for it, but it's on my wish list.

Well, I ended up not liking this flower after all and donated it (in bloom!) to my orchid society annual auction. And, it was my most vigorous phrag. Oh well, live and learn.
