Interesting clone you have. It seems to have a more pinkish tone than the various Mary Bess's I've seen in the past and the lip is lacking the 'orange punch' which is a term I just made up to describe the contrasting orange pouch you sometimes see in this hybrid.

It's such a sweet little flower and sweet little plant as well. The plant looks very happy with your care, that's for sure. Do you grow this plant wet? I grow mine sitting in a saucer of water and it soaks up water like crazy.

Mary Bess was my grandmother (though not who the plant was named after). I love the plant, and yours looks especially healthy.

I water it every because it has many roots and the bark is pretty big. Maybe I should put it on a saucer too so I don't have to water everyday.
