I have mine in s/h in lava rock and it really loves it. If I can't get my red vasco at the show, maybe I'll get a besseae. Your yellow one is gorgeous too, and I have heard that they can bloom for a long time.

My yellow -Flavum- has been in flower since the beginning of Dec last year. I have just the one flower left now but generally they lasted for about four weeks each. I hope to get even more blooms next time round. I have a small new growth at the moment so hopefully in about another eight months it should be blooming again.

I'm sorry but I don'tknow what a Vasco is?

Vascostylis is a vanda x ascosenda x rhychostylis. They are really good bloomers and are often fragrant.

I would like a Vanda myself but the ones that I like are the intircate ones, not the blousy ones, I like Usti, Tricolour, Insign etc. Trying to find any over here is very hard. I don't know if I could give them the right culture, I hear that they require lots of light and then if I did get one, I would want to grow it in a glass. So, so far I don't have any vandas.
