Default Branching Besseae var Flavum

Here it is -finally! It's been a long wait but very worth it. I now have my beautiful yellow besseae in flower and with a branch as well!! I am so pleased with it. Sorry about the poor picture quality but it was taken with a camera phone I'm afraid

Thank you Paula. Yes I am on cloud nine as I really thought that this type of phrag was prone to blasting but luckily I managed not to kill it in the first week so now my problem is, which one to get next?!

It has been a doddle for me! I even dropped it twice on the floor and forgot to water it for a while but even so it has done me proud! I really love it and I keep on looking at it to see if it is changing colour, the first flower was a deeper yellow the second one is paler although it is still opening up so maybe it will just need a little longer.

Very nice. I haven't been a big fan of the flavum form, but yours has changed my mind. Well done.

Thank you Kim, that is praise indeed! I hope that you do become a fan because they are so lovely and easy to grow. I already have a new growth on this one so hopefully before the end of the year I might be posting it again.

Susie,

Really well grown. I love that it's multi-floral and that it's able to keep 2 blooms open at the same time. Such a nice color and shape too. Well done and thanks for posting cultural advice on the other bessea post.
