I got this plant as a gift for volunteering for Paramount Orchids about 4 years ago. It has rewarded me yearly with new growth and blooms . I have fond memories of volunteering for them, and the this paph. always puts a smile on my face.

It is very nice and once again the spicerianum comes through. I have some that look very similar and I wonder about the parentage....

Thanks everyone. Cody: does that mean you're coming to Edmonton? I will not be dividing it this year, but in 2013 it'll probably need to be done again. I'll kep you in mind.
BikerDoc: since this is a hybrid, with spicerianum in its parentage, it's possible ours have more common background - but judging from your pictures, the pouch of Hamana Spice has more burgundy in it. I had to take the pic. rather hastily, as there was hardly any sunlight left.

I wish! I would love to go to an orchid show! (I hope that's what you were meaning!) I'm fine with waiting to get a piece of a plant that I like and am unlikely to find for sale.

The show is indeed what I meant, but guests are always welcome at our meetings as well. Keep this in mind, there are a lot of talented growers here. You'll always be welcome.

Lol, well that will be a couple of years in the future, as I don't even have my learners!

Really love this one. I got one from paramount 4 or 5 years ago.
They said, it was bloom size, HA! It bloomed for me about 2 months ago. Beefy little blossom
