Phragmipedium Living Fire - first phrag
In the meantime, the left flower has fallen -lucky I knew this, else I'd have panicked with a seemingly good flower on the floor- and the right has filled out. Also, the third bud is showing! Stem is maybe 1,5 foot now.
This is my first phrag, but I can't take real credit for the blooms. Bought it with the one bloom and one bud.
Still, so far it seems to be an easy bloomer ^.^ it had no easy travel here either

Very nice with lots of dark red. This is one of the phrags i'm thinking about buying, if I don't find Red Sky. From where did it travel?

That is a beautiful bloom. You are responsible for its blooming, you helped continue its life...even if it came to you mature and spiking...other orchids can blast the buds if not taken cared of

It's from orchidwubben. But I picked it up myself.
It had been sitting in the car the whole day, from a humid warm greenhouse, to dry hot car, and then at night, a very cold dry car. Lying on it's side in the trunk.
Oh well, it obviously didn't mind! |
