After blasting 2 buds, the third one finally opened! I was getting worried for a while. This is a cross between the clone 'Doc' and 'Fire Embers'. I love the pink tones!

Mine blooms pink for a few days then goes coral in color, interesting color change.

The buds inside the sheath were exuding water..I was concerned as I could squeeze water from them every day...then low and behold the buds rotted. Can't explain why all that water was there. Mountain Maid did a similar thing but the buds developed OK. At least there is yet another bud coming and that one is out of the sheath and looking fine.

Gloria, my Eric Young seems to be going coral now as well.
