Default How Long?

I have grown this Phrag Sedenii for I don't know how many years. I have always had some leaf tip die back (as if you hadn't already noticed) with some years worse than others. This plant was moved into S/H about a year ago. Some of the newer growths are not exhibiting salt problems (yet). I have been told that it can sometimes take well over a year for the die back problems to disappear. Can any one tell me if that is true? Thanks.

Your phrag is gorgeous. I hadn't heard that about s/h and leaf die back, I sure hope someone has the info as I'd like to know too.

I didn't mean to imply that S/H was the cause of my leaf tip problems. In fact, quite the opposite so far. I think that I had the plants pretty well loaded with salts prior to putting them into S/H. I guess what I would really like to know is if any of the present leaf tip problems might be the result of past transgressions and if so, how long might one have to wait before assuming current problems are not associated with conditions that may have occurred quite some time ago.
