Default Unknown Cypripedium (I believe it is a species)

I recently visted Kew Botanical Gardens in London (UK) and among other things saw this wonderful Cypripedium.

It was one of few specimins which did not have a label and I asked the people working there what it was.

They told me Cypripedium xxxxx but while I remembered the Cypripedium bit I did not managed to remember the rest of it. (I was taking photos of all the name labels to help me remember but could not do that for this one).

I'm pretty sure he said it was a species but can't be 100%

Anyone seen one like this before?

Thanks Phantasm, my husband has said he remembers the guy saying it was from Taiwan, and the formosanum sounds familiar now I see it.

Thanks for the info.

I was stunned by this one when I saw it and I was really pleased how good a pic I got, because it was behind glass making it difficult to take.
