Default Phrag. Plemont

This little baby started opening a few days ago, and is now fully open - just in time to go to my Society meeting this coming Saturday!!

This is a first time bloom on a single growth seedling. Hopefully next blooming will see the dalessandroi branching of the flower spike come through. But right now, I am just in love with the 'windows' in the pouch!! What a cool thing!

and some pics from the day when it was first starting to open up... (I just couldn't wait any longer to take a photo!!)

It's so beautiful, I absolutely LOVE the pouch! It really does seems like there are slits in it. I've never ever seen anything like that before. I bet that it's going to get a lot of attention on Saturday.
