Default A couple of spikes I noticed in the GH this afternoon

Hey all--
Here are a couple of plants that are just coming into spike--I'll post follow-ups when they open. It'll be a first bloom for the P. kolopakingii (the first picture)--who says that you can't grow the big strap leaved paphs cool and bright? The second shot is of P. Armeni White, which usually blooms in the early spring for me, but she's a bit late this year (and there is another spike coming on the growth behind the one in the pic )
Enjoy, and I'll do a follow-up when the buds begin to swell.
Adam

Default Paph. kolopakingii follow-up

Things are advancing rapidly with kolopakingii! So far as I can tell there will eventually be 6 flowers on this spike, two of which are rapidly opening. Thought that I would post a couple of follow-up pics. I'll post again when all are open.

Adam, Thanks for the update photos! That's going to be quite show! very nice plants! (I haven't had a lot of luck with the green strap leafed Paphs, so I will get my fix vicariously through you!!)

If anyone can grow then cool and bright, you can. Good job, Adam.

Thanks for sharing photos. If it weren't for your photos and others who show paphs and phrags in spike, I wouldn't believe it's possible. Still waiting on mine!
