Have actually tried not to say much in this thread but I think the post is about what bloomed late in one persons collection not late blooming cymbidiums. I have cymbidiums that bloom every month of the year including July and August in Florida. Have some in bloom now and spikes on others. The thread might lead readers to believe that cymbidiums all bloom early and that is just not true.

I quite agree. I have a fair number of warm tolerants in bloom. However the cool weather types are winding down rapidly so I see where the confusion lies. Many of the standards used for cuts and pot plants bloom between Nov and April. Many of the warm tolerant ones bloom randomly at any time and many bloom more than once a year.

Sorry to mislead....it is just all of my other cym have come and gone up here in the cold north country. Havin said that, I'm sure there will be someone who lives in the northern climates that has a cym or other orchid blooming "late." Once again, it wasn't my intention to be misleading in my caption title.

Understood that you only wanted to share with the forum and we all appreciate that but wanted to make a point anyway.
