Default Ansellia africana varieties

Two of my Ansellia africana plants are currently blooming. I'm not that fond of the scent, but the flowers are quite attractive and last a long time.

Yes, they are roots. The species appears to have two types of roots, one that are "standard" orchid roots and roam throughout the pot, and another that grow upwards (possibly to catch leaves and other falling debris from trees) and end in relatively sharp points.

Those are all awesome. Way more plants than I could ever hope to care for. But he also has the luxury of growing in the native environment (which I'm envious of).

The scent, in my opinion, is rather medicinal. Not at all sweet, but not terrible either.
