I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

Well you my not believe this but be open minded. my house is near the woods and last year we had a gold search going through the back of my house and since we live in the woods i knew an area of pink lady slippers and they were to be doomed for clearing by the miners so mine is potted in its natural soil, every now and then i add vinegar to the soil to help the acidity. might you know a way for transplanting them into something else..? and how'd i be able to make it grow efficiently.? please someone with good details for help would be greatly appreciated.

No I don't but all the plants we have here in Northern Michigan grow in pine needles under large pine trees. So there'fore the acid. For instance You can see the old pine duff behind plant. Does this give you any ideas? I would simply dig up some yeaar-old or more pine duff and try to layer it like it might have been in the woods and transplant into that. See what happens. Let us know.

Hello Wayne and welcome. I know less than nothing about native Cyps. However, you might contact Carson Whitlow in Iowa. I believe that he registered the first successful Cyp hybrid. He is the owner of Cyp. Haven and his email is SlipperGuy@aol.com. It was always interesting to make a journey to Carson's home in the early spring as he had several beds of various Cyps he had established. What a show!!
