Default Grammatophyllum Scriptum var. Citrinum

It's that time of year! I wanted to share my Grammatophyllum pictures. He's got two nice spikes and 2 more on the way. The bigger of the two that I have (both are Citrinum) is being a little slow out of the gate but he's got 4 spikes that I can see are just getting started.

They are like having baby elephants. (But I love them)

Mine aren't fragrant as far as I can tell. I feed them heavily during their growing season, water at least every other day and they both get full sun all day long and love it. I am in trouble if the biggest of the two continues to grow at the rate he's going. That's "part" of him to the left of the "little guy".

Thanks for looking!

Thank you Annak! Nope...not fragrant as far as I can tell. Unless he's smelly at night and I don't know it. I try to avoid the orchid house at night....toads!

Toads? Yeap, no place to linger at nights!
Such flowers do not need the sent to get all the attention they want

Yes...he grows outside in full sun. Gets watered every day. He's in very very large chunky medium too...which they seem to prefer.
