Cym, cyperifolium, a native of India, is most similar to Cym faberi in appearance and in culture requirements. I would grow it as other Asian Cyms with warm, shady, humid summers and cool, bright, slightly dry winters. Discover where those conditions can be given it where you live, and it should do well.

I would under-pot the three plants together as a group, misery loves company, in a light, well draining mix. I personally like CHC 1/4" small chunks mixed with 20% perlite, but fine fir bark would work too to stimulate new growths and new roots. Be sure NOT to over water.

Good Luck,

Cym Ladye
