Default Cymbidium Golden Elf

That's a popular cymbidium cross here. The plant is able to bloom two or three times in a year.
The blooms are fragrant.

I love this plant! I had one once, but it went to orchid heaven. Mini/compact Cyms are one of my favorites.

2 or 3 times a year? Wow, I didn't know there were cyms that could do that! Beautiful flowers on yours.

If you had the constant warm temperatures pheli had instead of our cooler temperature variations in the Bay Area, you could bloom it 2-3 times a year too!

Too bad I didn't have those available when I lived in the hot, humid south all those years! There, the only ones that bloomed more than once a year for me were vandas and one or two of my catts. I never got any cool-growing cymbidium to bloom for me, just a species with fleshy leaves that I no longer recall the name for. I used to wish I could grow odontoglossum and miltonia, so that's what I go for now, and they seem happy and easy to grow.
