Classification is a mess - like those who were going to solve it all with DNA analysis - then proceeded to use the chloroplast DNA - which is very much the same in all plants. Understand that a lot of that work will need to be done over. Looks like a lot of orchids will be extinct before we really figure it out.
Wonder what the scientists will come up with next?

I shudder to think. They have been moving known species out of one genus into another like musical chairs over recent years as if they had nothing better to do except to leave a legacy!

A lot of us have been doing that - It just may be that we will move them all back. Have decided to leave my tags alone until it looks like the changes will stick.
