Cym. ensifolium ' Jiao Hao'
This is a very common ensifolium that grown by cymbidium lovers here and it is also an important orchid for export.

Gloria, there are several chinese cymbidium farms in central Taiwan which export their orchids to south Korea, Japan or other countries that also appreciate these orient beauties.
For these farms, chinese cymbidiums are the sources of their incomes.

I have an ensiforium that grows and blooms well here in NE Florida. I like yours better. The only bad news is that the flowers dont last very long and the good news is that a small plant makes a lot of spikes and flowers.

Beautiful Cym. ensifolium. I think my ensifolium v. Tie Gu Su Xin (铁骨素心) is about to spike too but I may be wrong as I am not the cymbidium expert. I see a growth starting that is very fat and looks different from a new lead so I am assuming it is going to be a spike. Very interesting how Cym. ensifolium has so many documented varieties though.
They are fragrant Dave like the other chinese cymbidiums. I am not sure of their exact scent yet
