I think mine will give similarly coloured blooms, but it hasn't bloomed for me yet. I am getting brown leaf tip on its beautiful grassy marginally variegated foliage. I'm assuming it is from low humidity since the nursery it came from was most likely more humid, or maybe I need to water more.
It may due to low environmental humidity. In nature, they grow in dry mountains but it is always misty at night and early morning. Even in the daytime, other plants around them would help to maintain good humidity. The soils they grow are usually dry quickly. Therefore, when growing artificially, quick drain medium is suggested and too much water in the pot may do harm to their root systems.

Thanks, Gloria.
It is quite easy to grow this species outdoors here. But for us, there are still a lot of good chinese cymbidiums should be grown in the greenhouses to ensure that they grow and bloom well.
