I brought this gold one into the home in the hopes that the warmer indoor temps would get the buds to pop and so they did! There are several more still out in the GH waiting their turn for the indoors warmth.

You are making me jealous, Howard! One of my Cyms is not spiking after being divided, and nor is the other. I understand you left yours in the sun all summer and yet all the cultivation info I could find over here suggested that too much sun would be bad for them and scorch the leaves. As we don't get that much sun () I think I shall try your method in future.

Heather, just a word of caution: In the spring when you have night time low temps not less than about 5C, you can put your cymbs out in a shaded area and ease them into more sun over a 2 week period. Then weather permitting water and feed all summer long and in the fall leave them outside again til nighttime temps fall to 5C and back off on the water and food for about 2 ~ 3 weeks. Bring them in and begin some water, etc.
