There are too many hybrids that have been made too make it possible to identify a plant without a name. You'll just have to enjoy the flowers.

I enjoyed the reference Dorothy gave, but I tend to dislike the term "noid". Perhaps it is because of my more scientific orientation, I prefer to use the following if it is a Cym:
Cym. hyb. ign. "name of your choice" The hyb. stands for hybrid and the ign. latin for unknown. If it were a Paph. then it would read Paph. hyb. ign. "---".

One can use a pet's name, name of one's street, a relative or friend or something funny for the name within the quotes. Owner's choice but no matter the name, it does have a form of identification.

Its annoying when people remove or move tags -(poor greehhouse manners even to touch someone elses tags without asking) A friend of mine calls unlabeled plants SDSOB. The first part of the initials are Some Dumb. To me selling plants without names also falls to the same label.

Rodolfo,

Using Cymbidium hybrid is fine. Just be sure you put something in single quotes to differentiate it from other unknown Cymbidium hybrids you may have, even if it is only a number, ie '#1'. I also put the color and the date potted on the back of the tag for quick reference.
