Default Can this NoID Cymbidium be Saved?

They say there's one born every minute....that's me when it comes to orchids.

The plant looked sad but I was suckered in by the pretty flowers. I unpotted and most of the roots are gonners. The pictures show what's left. Is there any hope?

Maureen

I don't grow cyms but it looks like you have a new growth and some viable roots. Someone with experience will chime in, but I wouldn't give up on it just yet.

Hello

looks like some of the roots are good - I would get rid of the dead roots and pot it - cyms are pretty tough plants - I would not be surprised if with proper care this one will do alright

Let us know how it goes

Hi,
I think it will grow - do you know the symptoms of virus? It might be good to check it before you put it
with your other plants and find out its a (Typhoid Mary) I would use Agdia Strips or send a sample off to a good lab.

It looks like it has a good fighting chance.
Give it some extra TLC and I bet it will take off.
