It was one of my first orchids and I WAY over potted it (I did know that they don't like to be disturbed once established which is why I decided to go with a larger pot, ), then I overwatered it. All mistakes orchid initiates make. Too bad that for many people they decide from that experience that orchids are too difficult to grow and give up.

I, however, am not the kind of person to give up. Most of the 'chids I got in that first purchase I killed, but there are still a couple from my second purchase still around. Now I have a decent group of different orchids and I only kill one once in a while.

Hello, you may want to read this article: Cymbidiella, A Study in Contrasts

I am growing one successfully to date, not too much differently from my indoor cymbidiums, but it does need to be somewhat warmer.
