I have the same orchid, i got it from Germany this summer. I can't give any advice, but i noticed it's a slow grower.
It's quite hard to get one in Europe, i was lucky this time.

I have one too. It IS slow growing, and mine has not bloomed yet . . . looks like still at least a year away, maybe two.
Wonder who here on the board will show some blooms first?

"It IS slow growing..."
I have grown this for several years and agree it is a slow grower, definitely slower and less vigorous than the other LBS's in my collection. It has bloomed, however, and is a nice cultivar of the cross.
Recommendation: Keep warm and fairly dry in the winter, more like the cym. canaliculatum species parent. The growths will tend to rot out if water is allowed to sit in the leaf bases when the weather is cold. I use an open mix of equal parts of 40% medium and 40% fine bark with an additional 20% #3 Sponge Rok and not one that will hold water for an extended period of time like 100% ground coir. I use this mix in Northern California for all my canaliculatums and their first generation hybrids.
Good Luck,
Cym Ladye

Grow it with cymbidiums in the summer but with hold water in the winter. cym. canaliculatum likes to be dry in winter. I have had mine for several years but almost killed mine with winter watering before I found out how to grow it. No water in winter! The grower who told me how got a AM on his.

Think I'll get this one. When you say no water in the winter does that mean no or simply less water? Really appreciate everyone's input, Thanks-Martin The picture is correct. Very nice must say!!!

In my case Martin, it means virtually no direct water, only a light mist maybe once or twice during the winter months when the sun is out and the greenhouse is warm. I stop watering in mid October and resume when the spikes elongate in early spring. Most LBS's are not as sensitive to water as the Cym. canaliculatum species but this clone is.
