unfortunately I lost her. i take the blame mostly- the weather has changed recently nd my winters are drier than they were 10-15 years ago and my habits are old. i did not give it enough attention during the pandemic winter and when i went to give it a good inspection, the pbulb was hollow and had rotted from the inside while looking remarkably alive. so i may try again in the future buyt this was a fail

Awww, too bad! I got fooled the same way by a Peristeria elata my last year living in Tampa; looked like it was thriving but had completely rotted off…
I was intrigued though with how your A. tognettiae was tolerating your heat; I’m going to try one in my greenhouse up here in 7b…
