So...some of the folks here want to get in one more project before cold winter temperatures settle in.
We've got a few folks signed on already...we'll be using the runners-up from our previous projects (with one or two additions)...and the decision will be made by next weekend - Sun Oct 28 will be the cut-off date and the plants will be ordered the following day.
For those of you not familiar with our OB Projects, the concept is this:
a number of us, from all different areas and growing in totally different conditions choose one plant that each of us buys. We then grow it as we would any other plant in our collection...asking questions about culture...and see who gets it to bloom first. Then, that person can tell the rest of us what they've done to accomplish that!
If you'd like to read up on previous projects, just do a search here for Project and you'll find a number of threads showing how the process goes and what fun it is along the way. Usually, we take weeks and weeks to settle on one but this project will be a quick-hit...One Week!
