My collection seems to have stabilized at 55 or so. Probably cause I killed a few and trade for new ones.

The last time I counted I had 109. I think it was in January. I don't know where the rest came from but today I counted 159. Oh I remember, I ordered a couple, Traded a couple, was given a couple and attended the WOC came home with a few, went to our local orchid show bought a couple and won a couple at our meetings. I'm out of room for a couple weeks. Orchid-sitting about 12 then I'll have to look at my wish list again.

It's all my husbands fault. He mentioned a great spot for another 11' pole to hang some of my chids on and the driftwood tree. I just made it happen

Maybe I'll just enjoy these guys for the summer!!!

Well, I've only been into orchids for 2 1/2 maybe 3 years now, and at one point when I was at 56 orchids, I decided it was getting a bit much, so I had better start rounding out my collection to only the elite few left that I really really really couldn't live without.
Well, today I am at 94 and no where near at the end of my "rounding out" phase. Heaven help me Hannah.

I know what you mean kiki. unfortunately, an elite few always seems to be more than you have. and there never seems to be enough room. i wanna build a house for me and one for my chids

Okay, it's early morning and I am still on my first cup of coffee. Brain freeze .... H & R? Who is that? I don't even know but I need to sign up for a catalog.
See, this is how my numbers get out of control. It's all your faults.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
So who is H&R and where do I sign up?

H&R is a really good nursery with lots of species and hybrid orchids. I go down to the nursery every time they come out with a new catalog.....which is 3X per year!! I also go pretty regularly in between catalogs too.
