Our friend Rhonda is absolutely right!

For the first year, I just couldn't bring myself to part with a plant. I kept thinking "I'll make it grow!"...WRONG!
I've reached a new phase in my addiction...it's called being able to let go...and I have chucked a number of 'chids that were struggling and bringing me along for the ride

Just counted 53. This is after selling off 15 or so at our societies auctions. I was running out of room.

Rhonda, thanks for giving me something to think about. I have thrown out or given away orchids I have trouble with and currently have one that I hope to bring back to health. I bought it with rotten roots.

Dunno .. I don't count ,did one time including out of flask about 300 maybe more by now .

I just counted and was shocked to learn that I have 30! Thats a lot for me since I just have them growing by 2 windows. I also have a couple more on the way. Where on earth am I going to put those???

Wow, its amazing how the collections grow. Not sure of the amount in the last thread but with 2 months to go for my 2nd year 110. It's hard to part from my orchids, but its fun sharing with friends.
