Oh! Watering! Phals purchased at Big Box Stores need to be repotted to looser medium. All of the 'chids I've purchased were potted in wet, rotted medium and needed repotting. Perhaps the roots of yours aren't nice and white like they should be? If thet are dark-colored (brownish) then repot the plant to fresh orchid bark mix.

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Masdies, Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)

Well i placed my order with The Orchid Shop (Kris Varga) and am happily waiting by the mail box. I ordered quite a few Air Cone pots, Thrive Alive B1 and Botanica's Pocket Orchid book. It's going to be just like Christmas all over again. I plan on ordering plants too when the weather warms up.

Thanks again Kris!!!!!
