Is there a max number of pictures that can be used?

not really, you can use as many as you want, just keep it nicely laid out. In case of trouble PM me and I'll try to help out.

I've submitted and article that includes the URLs for the pictures, but I can't get them to show.

I fixed your URLs. You may want to play around a bit and fix it a bit. Bit heavy on the pics, perhaps float a few images in the body of the text and place the rest at the bottom of the article. There's also a duplicate photo

I was working on an article, but I don't think I will be able to finish it by the deadline. I have a lab report to finish writing first. Even so, I'll still finish it and post it, it just might not be done in time be part of the contest...

Another question. Has anyone done a beginner's article on orchid names, i.e., by way of sorting out the information on tags, etc.
