Thanks Marty. We all love showing off photos of our beautiful chids, regardless of the name. I'm sure this decision will offer many Noids a fighting chance. Too bad I take crappy photos.
I am not sure how to post my calendar entry with this note so I just posted it to the photo gallery on this site. The photo is of a native species of the US & Canada which is easily propogated from seed or division. I am growing it with carnivorous plants and other native orchids in an artificial bog made from 1/2 of a whiskey barrel. The plant is Calopogon tuberosus var. tuberosus. The common name is Grass Pink because the leaves of the plant look like blades of grass.
Boy am I glad all the kinks are now worked out I love my 2008 calendar and can't wait for 2009. This year I for sure will have a picture to submit. Now all I have to do is decide which one.
