Forgive my lack of posting...it is not my nature to expound when i have little to offer. I do enjoy the site and will continue to simply read and enjoy the wisdom i gain from the rest of you.

I do understand, but remember we all have something to offer whether it be care, culture, concerns etc. If at anytime you need information on a question you can not find the answer to post it on the OB and we will be more than happy to help. We are glad your here and yes, a lot of wisdom is found here.

personally I think the moderators should strike down any deliberate post-number-increasing, such as posts not relevant to the topic at hand, etc. but that would probably get to be a pain.

I think I should just concede that the non-job-having people are going to win regardless though...

Fine print is... Nov1st - server time. We will go according to the statistics provided here

we will look at the top ranking of "last 7 days"
week 1 - Tue 7th midnight EST
week 2 - Tue 14th midnight EST
week 3 - Tue 21st midnight EST
week 4 - Tue 28th midnight EST

I guess the 29th and 30th won't be considered for the weekly prizes, but will count towards the monthly prizes, which will be calculated like so

Nov 30th midnight EST
we will look at the top ranking of "this month"
and top 3 posters will receive the prizes

I. for one, will enjoy sharing what knowledge I have. I wondered in the past weeks if it made any difference, but it is obvious to me that there are lots of board members who choose not to post, for what ever reason. Now, perhaps, they may change their minds?

I don't do most Dendros or large, "floofy orchids". For me it's minis (like Angraecoides), Masdies, Paphs, and others that crept in somewhere along the line. See my orchid list for complete collection (usually not current.)
