OB Photo Contests Hall of Fame

This thread is meant to honor past and present winners of OrchidBoard's Photo Contests, and to provide the judge's feedback for the entries.


The judge's identities are kept secret, and have experience with the elements of photography. They have kindly taken the time to provide feedback on each photo submitted, to make these contests a true learning experience. The amount of feedback given in each contest will depend on the amount of participants.

At the judge's discretion, in contests where there are a great number of entries, feedback may be limited in different ways:

Rather than judging every individual photo, participants will get feedback on their entries as a whole,

Or, feedback will be limited to only the winning photos, as an explanation of what set them apart from the rest and as an example of what future participants may work towards and experiment with.

Each division's results will be posted in it's own post.

The Member's Choice Winners for each Photo Contest will be posted here as well. There is one winner in each division, determined by popular vote by members of Orchid Board. All members may vote in the Member's Choice poll, whether they participated in the photo contest or not.
