I think this is a different poll. This one is a prediction while the removed poll was personal preference.

Palin would be the most likely one to have grown a plant. And know a orchid was not a big black and white fish.

Are you sure? She seems to have a disconnect with the facts, and perhaps an orchid is a big white and black fish in her mind.

My own opinion being Canadian is both Obama and Palin are scary. Obama reminds me of what I heard America was like just before the second world war (isolationish) while Palin, has opinions that make me cringe as well. Canadians are voting on our Federal election and from what I have heard, there will be another minority government. As a general rule, I like minority governments but Harper has to go.

Having said all that, that is, as I said my own opinion, so please no one be offended by my remarks.

After almost a whole year, you stopped by just to leave that comment?

How about your orchids? We'd love to hear how your collection is doing...how about dropping a note in the orchid-related forums?

Susanne, I am guessing you are not referring to me but to IMaBrat? Hi anyway, and if I offending anyone with my reply to IMa, please accept my appology. The opinion expressed were mine alone.

Oh no no no! Not you!
Sorry, I should've quoted the post I was referring to

What you wrote was an opinion, which was fine. I was surprised to see Ima's post since it's the first in almost a year and finding it in this thread surprised me.

Don't worry Ladyslipper, I accept others opinions even if I don't agree (but I agree with you). Like it been said before though, politics are best left alone on OB, if we don't want any hurt feelings.

Anyways, I did my good deed of the year, I put my ballot in the mail today. That way I'm sure it will arrive before Nov 4th and my vote will be counted! Especially since I'm in a battleground state (VA).
Voting was not simple since I had to fill in the bubbles with a #2 pencil, which I did not have, and didn't know what the EU equivalent was. My mother in france had to go though all the desk drawers to find the chewed up stump of one to mail it to me!
