I love crab cakes made with real crab too but I had to find a way to use the extra wannabe stuff that I get in a big package at Sam's Club. My husband's favorite crab salad is made from a recipe using it and there's always a huge amount left that I don't like to freeze.
Okay Sue.....where is the recipe for the crab salad....hand it over nice and slow!!!!
I don't use the food processor, just mix the dressing stuff in a large bowl, add the other stuff to it, mix it well and let it sit (in the fridge) for a few hours before serving. It's really yummy
My wife and I do not have children and so I get my jollies from a few different things-cooking being amongst them and I guess I have a tendency to be pretty picky when it comes to food. I am sure your salad is delicious.
