Default Belgian Waffles

Dave, got a good recipe for belgian waffles? I used to do batter with yeast and leave it overnight in the fridge. It was pretty good... Wife has a craving this morning, so I'm looking for something online that's decent. Do you have a secret BW recipe ala Oscarman ?

I do.....not sure where it is right now - no doubt your breakfast period is over by now. I'll look so you are ready for the future craving!

Drooling about waffles with Caramelized Bananas!

Yes, I made waffles from a recipe by Emeril of all the people. It was quick and didn't use any yeast, just baking soda. They turned out pretty good, but not even close to my overnight recipe. I made these with half the sugar and half the butter, that could have been the cause of it...but they were still very edible, especially once topped with a topping made of ripe fresh mangoes, pineapple and strained raspberry pulp

NY: My wife doesn't touch fast food....it's a drag! Would have been so much easier...KFC is just around the corner...personally I can go for a whopper any day! Fortunately I love to dabble in the kitchen, so she's all set
