Default Stuffed Mushrooms

I can't make enough of these when the family come to visit, even the kids like them.
makes about 15

8 oz. box button mushrooms
2 tbsp. butter mealted
1/2 cup Italian breadcrumbs with 1 tbsp grated parmesan chesse mixed in
1 small onion minced
1/2 tsp. garlic minced
1 tsp. extra virgin olive oil
pinch salt and pepper

preheat oven 350 degrees

remove stem and mince reserve
coat mushroom caps with butter then with breadcrumb mix set aside
heat small sautee pan with remaining butter and olive oil
add onion cook till slightly translusent then add minced stems and garlic cook 3 or 4 mins. add salt and pepper and remaining breadcrumbs mixture
remove from heat and mix well
stuff caps and put on cookie sheet
bake for 15 to 20 mins.
serve and enjoy
TIP:
Try to get the bit size ones, makes them easy to eat
Any mushrooms that are to small or broken just mince with stems

Default Just a little different

My wife and I used to have New Years parties. One of the things that we always made was stuffed mushrooms. If my memory has not deserted me, it had bacon bits in it, too. There are so many variations on the recipe and most are delicious. One had crab meat in it.
