I made this cake for Thanksgiving. On the table for desserts, we had a homemade apple pie, a cheesecake, a pumpkin pie, and this cake. The apple pie had a little chunk taken out, the pumpkin wasn't touched nor was the cheesecake (which is shocking around here! LOL ) but this cake was almost gone!

It's one of the best cakes I've ever had...and the fact that it's so simple makes it all the better

I can imagine that the cake had so much success! Of cours, I still think I would have gone for the pumpkin pie, which I can't resist.

Maybe my best friend in Chicago can send me an x-mas care package. It's only fair, since I'm sending her one with french goodies. Besides she already said that she was sending me some tootsie rolls and cheese cake mix, so she can add stuff to the box.
