Talking Anybody have any good Crock Pot recipes?

All I'm gonna say is, these things are a college student's best friend.

Anyway, if anybody has any CP recipes, post them here. I'm always looking for new things to try.

Chicken Soup

1lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
1lb carrots (I cheat and use baby organic ones no peeling and only a few cents more!)
1 bunch of celery
Lawery's Seasoned Pepper
2 Jalapenos (optional but recommended if you have a cold or flu)
Garlic Powder
Yoke Free Egg Noodles (1/2 a package or the whole thing depends how much you like them)
Chicken flavored bullion cubes I use about 5 of em

Put the slow cooker on low put the chicken in (fresh or frozen works either is fine I don`t even cut it up yet I let it cook first) put in enough water to cover the chicken add the bullion cubes a couple shakes of garlic powder (1/2 a teaspoon) Probably about 2 tablespoons of seasoned pepper you can use less or more depending on your taste. Cut up the jalapenos and add them if you are going to use them if you prefer hot then use the seeds too! Then just clean and chop up the other veggies and add them. Let it cook for awhile then when its all cooked cook the noodles separately and rinse em then add them to the crock pot then take the chicken out and cut/shred it and put it back in and your done Really simple meal thats very good for you.

Takes at least 4 hours to cook probably more I don't really check on it often and not at all til I can smell it really good. Also when you add veggies you may need to add a bit more water. I also have a lentil soup recipe that is really good and a beef stew one. Lemme know if either of those interest you I am college aged and poor so they are both pretty cheap and I cook all the time (cause that is what poor people do lol) use to have a room mate that liked them too so it isn`t just my husband saying they are good. Also you could try adding the noodles with the veggies if you only have the crock pot to cook them in should be fine.

Fishy?
I think it tastes and feels like something between chicken and beef

I second that endorsement of springbok. Eland is also really tasty, and for lean, healthy protein you can't beat ostrich. Although it's a bird, it's actually red meat. All the flavor of a good steak with none of the guilt.

Default Here's an easy one... MoJo Pork

Buy a hunk of pork that will fill your crock pot. Either a pork shoulder, or picnic. Next, place it in a large ziploc bag and pour bottled MoJo marinade in and let sit overnite. Place pork roast along with marinade and cook for 3 hrs on low. Drain off MoJo and continue cooking on low for 2 more hours.

Make some white rice and a can of black beans, and it's just like you're in Havana.

On the black beans and rice, I like the condiments... fresh lime, chopped onion, olive oil, and hot sauce.

*caution, do not buy MoJo that has MSG in it. Ingredients should be sour orange, oregano, garlic and salt.

I actually found it fishy. Ostrich is lovely. As is venison. Yummy.

Are you in to spices at all? I could post some recipes I have found but I am not sure what you are looking for.

Also Femme, can you recommend any good Orchid stores in Sweden. I will be flying into Stockholm in two weeks, heading to Karlstad. We have limited availability here so I was going to try stock up!
