Thanks Dave, I'll give it a try. I'm assuming grill pre heated to the max ? Sorry, no charcoal here, just gas.

Good high heat....but not thermonuclear! Over-charring can occur due to the sugar content and there is a fine line between beautiful bbq flavor and the dreaded over-char.
