Default Coelogne South Carolina in distress. Can this plant be saved?

Hi everyone! I am new to the board but have been growing orchids for about 8 years. I recently took a trip to my local greenhouse to make some new purchases. Some months ago, they growers had made a division of Coelogne South Carolina for me. Score! I've been wanting this plant for years. The only problem is that after they made the cutting they forgot about it. I'm not sure how long it has been without care. They gave it to me for free with hopes it could be salvaged. It's pseduobulbs are very shriveled and it has only one sad leaf. I haven't taken it out of the pot because I'm not sure if I should disturb the roots. Can this plant be saved? Any ideas and suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I'd ask the growers that gave this to you, but the Coelogyne that I have (C. cristata) is potted in a medium to fine water-retaining mix - bark, chopped sphagnum, charcoal, and perlite in a big net pot lined with sphagnum. It gets watered a lot to keep it as moist as possible.

Ask the growers if they recommend re-potting now? Using a finer, water-retaining mix?
What kind of pot & how big?
How much water to provide?

Regardless, I think it will benefit from frequent watering right now. Don't worry about fertilizers, seaweed extract, etc etc right now, it mainly just needs hydration, and in a hurry. The other stuff can come later.

Thanks so much! It's in a 4" pot of coarse bark mix right now. I will email them to see what they recommend. Hoping to pull this guy through!
