Default Coelogyne Unchained Melody showing buds

An update on the flower spike I am so impressed with how fast this plant grows . Also, seems pretty quick [so far] with the flowering

is this one scented ?
I was just at Hausermann's and there was a lonesome var. tomentosa that scented up an entire section of a greenhouse. It was incredibly fragrant.

That is exactly how mine looks right now as well!

Yeah, this plant has spikes that just sit there forever and then boom! just takes off and elongate in just a few days and then bloom.

Well, all I can say is I am one step closer to the stinking sensation! lol

Well, the flowers on this particular plant is incredibly stinky, unless you fancy ammonia

When I first discovere them I did post pix as I wondered what the plant might be cooking up They've grown, but slowly ... I will try to get another pic ...
