I love these little guys, always amazing how the spike can have hundreds of tiny mini orchid blooms on it:-) Grow it on very bright light, some late afternoon direct sun, keeping it moist constantly (less in winter), but not watering from the top, small saucer filled constantly with water does it for mine! Fertilize some 2x month. Enjoy

Lovely. I've become very fond the Dendrochilumns lately and seems to have collected a few.

Many thanks Carrie, they are really fun to grow, and when they do have multiple spikes at the same time it is quite a show:-) Good luck with yours!

Tommy, can you take a picture of the base of the spike? I need to know what to look for on my Ddc. con-something. TIA

AnonYMouse, here you go, usually it is very tiny thing growing from the base of the bulb/leaf. This one grows actually from the base of the bulb but inside of the wrapped leaf as you can see:-)

Many thanks Bud, I did not notice any fragrance yet, but pretty much it just opened the first half of the bloom today, so will check for any scent later:-) I did not know about male/female for this one, interesting!
