Default Ceologyne cristata. to repot or not.

I have loved Ceologyne cristata for years and was lucky enough to get one at the Edmonton Orchid show in February.
I made a previous post when I first got it as I was struggling with its culture at first. Being so I ended up repotting it into a more moisture retentive mix right after I got it. I kept it in the same pot being it only had 2 growths at the time and there was plenty of room for them. Since then the plant has more than doubled in size.

So now the plant is climbing out of the pot and the pot is rock solid with roots.

So my issue is being new with these, all the growths are almost mature and are still putting out tons of roots. I am just wondering if I should repot this now or wait until it puts out some new growths.

I was just thinking about drop potting it into a bigger pot without disturbing the existing medium as it us still fresh and only about 3 months old.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Ps sorry if the picture ends up being sideways...I hate posting on my smart phone.

I would go ahead and repot it now with the active roots.

You will love the cristata when it blooms - beauty and fragrance on one plant!

Hi, I have a fairly large one that will have to be repotted soon. I just dropped mine into a larger container 2 years ago when I got it and have no idea when it was last repotted. I was told they hate being repotted and can sulk and not flower for 2 years. So i would just drop it in a larger flatish container as they have shallow roots.

Update

So I went ahead and potted it up without removing any media. It is doing really well at the moment it shot out a ton of new roots and boy was it root bound I couldn't believe the density of roots in that tiny pot.

Since the repot all the older wrinkled pseudo bulbs have plumped back up and only have a few minor wrinkles!! so I'm guessing the poor thing wasn't holding enough moisture I thought the shriveled bulbs were permanent at this point.

A little concerned that the bigger pot might hold to much moisture for too long but these guys like lots when growing right?

Fingers crossed I get a good show when it decides to flower.
