Well done Jenny. I think this is a species well worth a place in any collection of Orchids.

If you get them in bloom...Dendrochilum uncatum has a very unique fragrance...

'Unique' as in a nice unique? The only one I've smelt was like vanilla honey, but I don't know what it is only that it wasn't a uncatum!

"Unique" as in neither pleasant nor repulsive, it's kinda - mixed. Generally, the fragrance can be best described as a little - pungent, but not quite...offensive on the order of some Bulbophyllums.

The flowers can be showy! They are pretty large compared to many other Dendrochilum species.
